ViRDI UBio-X Triple Modal Recognition

UBio-X Triple is a time and attendance as well as access control hardware that offers a combination of face, iris, and fingerprint recognition. Facility managers can configure the system so that users must authenticate themselves with their face, iris, and fingerprint, or just with any one of them, depending on their risk management strategy.  

UBio-X Triple also supports smart cards, passwords, and mobile keys for authenticating users. To ensure the security as well as the privacy of users, the biometrics are not stored on the device or a server. While enrolling, the system will generate a hash value for the face, fingerprint, and iris, which will be encrypted and stored on the device. When a user tries to authenticate, the system will generate a hash value which will be matched with the stored hash value to verify the user’s identity.
